Small(ish) Treasures is a collection of works from Nancy Toomey Fine Art’s roster of artists, highlighting pieces by individuals with new connections to the gallery, as well as others with long-standing relationships. These artists explore materiality, concept, and technique in a variety of mediums, with their own stories and perspectives. Color, texture, and form come together in these small formats, translating the enormity of our world into a relatable, joyful scale. The gallery is set up as a kind of meeting ground and place for visual conversation, engaging a multitude of styles and observations. Life experience, imagination, identity, and experimentation are some of the themes that unite this exhibition, hopefully inspiring to both the audience and the artists.
