Along with other galleries at Minnesota Street Project in San Francisco, Nancy Toomey Fine Art is displaying a piece of art on the exterior wall of its space in solidarity with the upcoming J20 Art Strike and Women’s Marches.
Nancy Toomey has selected Monica Lundy’s Laverne charcoal on Fabriano paper, 34.25 x 26 inches, from the artist’s House of Strange Women series.
In addition to Lundy’s recent Nancy Toomey Fine Art exhibition Untethered – Stories of the Fillmore District with artist Rodney Ewing, Lundy has also co-curated the show With Liberty and Justice for Some on view at Walter Maciel Gallery in Los Angeles.
